I sipped an iced Starbucks coffee at a Barnes & Noble this weekend, and while I was there I brought home this haul of reading material. Two of those magazines reminded me that Palm Springs has some wonderful Mid-Century Modern homes that are worth looking at even if they're now outside my price range for a retirement home.

Perhaps I'll make a road trip there in the coming months?

    Wait...i know what those are...but can they really be.....magazines?!?!?! Let alone a whole section????

      Yes! I said the same thing when I walked into the B&N near one of my old work places. They still have large racks of magazines for sale. It was a very pleasant surprise.
