An Important PSA

Are you enrolled in USPS's Informed Delivery service? If not, you should after what I experienced this morning.

When I got Spo's good morning text, I also noticed another text that stated it was from USPS. It wanted me to correct a shipping label address so they could proceed with delivering a package. It even had a link for me to click on, and somehow this text was elaborate enough to fool my carrier's spam detection program.

Luckily for me, USPS's Informed Delivery service lets me know about packages in transit as well as packages that are awaiting pickup from the sender. I knew the text was bullshit right away and dealt with it accordingly.

I had to warn y'all because I fear others could easily fall prey to this scam. Informed Delivery is free and easy to enroll in, so please do it to give yourself peace of mind.

  1. We use informed delivery, but get notices by email instead of by text. I don't mess around...if something looks fishy, I delete it, damn the consequences.

    1. I should also mentioned these scammers are also using UPS. They almost tricked my brother not long ago.
