Random Thoughts On A Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving, y’all!
I won’t spend today with my family, which means I’ll have a peaceful holiday. I’m having the traditional Marie Callender’s frozen turkey dinner, and this time I’m supplementing it with a mini panettone baked with chocolate chips. Ara ara!

The Muse and I have really gotten to know each other better via phone and text lately. Not only are we NFL football fans, we’re both nerds/geeks that love architecture and my favorite upscale housewares store. She’s also fine with me reading comics and manga and playing the occasional video game. Thank God!
I also confessed to her that I’m open to travel with someone as long as I don’t need a $10k annual budget. That’s insane, and she agrees with me on that. Don’t be shocked if I apply for a passport next week, even though I have no plans to use it for several months due to the family situations.
This week’s Maxi MINI Maxi photo features Artoria with a Chevy Colorado (I think) and a Dodge Ram 1500. I still can’t believe the latter passes for a half ton pickup nowadays.

I still haven’t met The Muse for a date yet, but we may get together this weekend depending on her freelance work and other stuff that’s going on. No, she’s not being evasive. She’s basically enduring what I did just over three years ago when I lost my career.
There’s a small chance she may have to sell her place and move, hence the DYI stuff around the house plus taking odd jobs whenever she can to keep herself afloat. I knew this from the moment I met her, but I'm a gunslinger that's willing to take chances.
She insists on remaining self-sufficient, but it really bothers me that she can’t get the things she needs such as new glasses. I promise y’all this. If I become her boyfriend, the first thing I’ll do is drag her to Costco to get an eye exam. Then she can pick out two new pairs of frames. I won’t set a budget, and I don’t care whether or not she ever pays me back. While diamonds are forever, seeing is more important don’t you think?
This is the least I can do for The Muse after she nearly melted my Silver and Black heart last Sunday. Just before kickoff, she took time out of her busy day to text me “Go Raiders”. People usually get kicked out of rival fandoms for doing something that bold!
On this holiday, I’m thankful for this second chance at a full life. I’m at my lowest weight since forever. I look good when I'm dressed up. I'm in really good health, and I'm motivated to resume my beauty regimen.
Wait? What?!?
Three decades ago I was a “metrosexual” that used eye creams to stave off wrinkles and bags large enough to double as carry on luggage. So guess who’s back on the wagon? If I can pass for 39 now, then why not shoot for 45 when I turn 60 and smell nice while I’m at it?
That’s all I’ve got for now. I have a weight training workout to get in this morning, plus I need to clean and straighten up Le Chateau de Crash Pad in case The Muse visits in the near future. Toodles!
Happy Thanksgiving!!!! I have 9 for dinner today later. Im grossly behind in reading since the Kenyian trip and being gone over the weekend and meeting another blogger. Now Thanksgiving.
