Only Sean Would Understand

I normally don't give electric toothbrushes names, but I can't help myself after I noticed something. The new Oral B iO Series 7 toothbrush is black, but the brush heads I have stocked up until late 2025 are in white.

I'd be foolish to toss those out, so I've decided to use them despite the color mismatch. Once I noticed the clear plastic ring turns green when you brush with the appropriate pressure, I started getting a Green Lantern vibe from watching myself brush.

Since toothbrushes by nature are abrasive, I'm going to call this one Guy Gardner.

  1. That is so cool that the ring turns green. I have an "old-fashioned" electric toothbrush with no bells or whistles. I like the name!

    1. I set it to turn pink when I'm not applying enough pressure, and it turns red when you brush too hard. It's quite lovely.

  2. Whew! I’m catching up on blogs and have had trouble posting a comment on yours for some reason. Hopefully this gets through. Sorry your hand hurt from my holiday card illustration. I love it. And I have the same toothbrush in green (no surprise.) Kindred spirit much?

    1. Hi! I'm not sure what's up with the comments right now but I'm keeping an eye to see which ones are held up. The hand is fine. I just need to handwrite things a lot more often than I do.
