Random Thoughts On A Thorsday Eve

 

This afternoon I changed the blog template and then created my own take on the default makeup background. I used about $5 worth of construction paper, a hobby knife and the beauty products I personally use such as American Crew, Burt’s Bees and Naturium. I don’t have professional lighting or a DSLR camera at Le Crash Pad, but I’m quite pleased with the end result.

I’m absolutely floored that Honda and Nissan are in preliminary merger talks, and Mitsubishi may be along for the ride too. Honda makes great everyday vehicles. Nissan has a rich motorsports history. Mitsubishi is better known for commercial and off road vehicles. This could be like Chevrolet, Pontiac and Jeep becoming one big car company if they do it right. The Dodge mini truck I drove in the late 80s to early 90s was built by Mitsubishi. I wouldn’t mind something similar as a third vehicle…

I shopped this morning with an eye for 2025. One item is travel related, while two others are for everyday use. I’ll show a picture of the trio on my Saturday post. I picked up the Zwilling Pro bread knife that was delivered to my WS store a month earlier than planned, and also purchased a few wine related items. The damage to my debit card was more than I anticipated, but it’s all good.

It’s roughly two more weeks before the New Year, and I already have my 2025 resolution. I look forward to the challenge, and there will be some huge rewards if I accomplish it. I’ll discuss that when we get closer to the big day.
