Random Thoughts On A Monday Morning

Today’s the so called Day of Reckoning, my semiannual meeting with my financial advisor. I’m sure everything will be fine, but I still view these sessions like my quarterly teeth cleanings at the dentist. I expect good news but my mind is prepared for the worst. 

I might get a lecture about spending more money than normal, but I can use the tariff situation to defend my recent purchases. I certainly wouldn't pay 25% more for the stuff I've acquired since the holiday season.

I feel detached from society. Not above. Detached. Or maybe I’m worried about the right things? 

This came to light when I read a Yahoo News article Sunday morning about The Collapse of America. Everyone is freaking out about job loss, the price of everything going up, their plummeting 401k balances, and yet no one is talking about due process except a former attorney running a football rumor mill. 

If we lose that, then it won’t matter how much a carton of eggs costs the next time we get pulled over for a speeding ticket or get on the radar for attending a political protest.

I want to leave this post on a positive note. I made a recent purchase to show the world Hatsune Miku was the first character vocal developed by Crypton Future Media. That’s why “Character Vocal 01” has an 01 on her upper forearm in her artwork. 

If I ever get Miku the MINI a vanity plate, it will include a 39. In Japanese 3 can be read as “mi” and 9 as “ku”, thus forming Miku. Pretty cool, huh?

Artoria will get her license plate soon. I hope. More to come on that...

Oh, something very exciting will be delivered today. I can't wait to show that off!
