Temecula Valley: Prologue
I’ve made a request for USPS to hold my mail, which is great for another reason. I ordered new license plate frames that will clearly identify Miku and Artoria to people who watch anime. One or both of them may arrive during my absence. I can’t wait to show those off.
I ate Del Taco for lunch the past two Saturdays so I could save enough Del Inferno hot sauce packets. This sauce is too boisterous for my veggie omelets but I adore it on tacos. I can’t wait to see how they’ll change the flavor profile of Rosa’s tacos. The unofficial nickname for this trip is The Detox Tour. For source material for my novel, I subjected myself to numerous modern dating videos on YouTube and the stupidity of Reddit on a daily basis. I need a break from both to rid my system of that dreary shit, so I look forward to finishing the first draft on Wednesday.
Remember that “kitty” book I bought during my last trip two weeks ago? That’s the only reading material I’ll pack this time. I’ll be shocked if I don’t finish this one before I check out of my hotel. I'm also packing both Bulova watches to wear.
The temperatures have dropped, so transporting chilled wine from my hotel room to Le Crash Pad won’t be an issue on Thursday. I didn’t get to drive Miku topless anywhere last week, so I’ve decided to take her for this trip. I’ll make it up to Artoria with a Bread Run to Dudley’s upon my return.
And now the wait begins…
Please tell me how that book is when you finish. I hope you have a wonderful trip and post all about it.
