Temecula Valley: Day 1

Despite a busy morning that included cleaning Le Crash Pad, I managed to hit the road with Artoria just after noon. The drive was too eventful for my palette. I brake checked a tailgating Prius that refused to pass me in the open lane for a good five miles, and then there were the two Teslas that nearly sideswiped me at high speed. Ara ara!

This was my reward for both arriving in Old Town Temecula in one piece and lifting weights a few hours earlier. I apologize for not asking the bartender how many quarters are beneath that counter surface.

This is the reading material I picked up at B&N. Mapping The Interior was $5 with any Starbucks Cafe purchase, and the bookmark is for The Book of Mormon that I'm reading again. You won't blame me for doing so once you see who got the "Momoka" treatment this week.

I'm in a room that not only faces the freeway but is next to the elevators. I'm assuming the front desk clerk is a Dodgers fan since I wore my Padres hat during check in.

I streamed today's game while editing the first chapter of my novel. I also had that same look on my face once the Yankees took a 7-3 lead.

Wahoo's, I miss thee.

  1. The tacos look amazing. The traffic in California sounds a lot like Florida. Those people are crazy bad drivers.

    1. Those tacos were so good that Bert wants to visit a Wahoo's near his place for lunch tomorrow. I shall join him, assuming our "Florida" traffic doesn't piss me off too much.
