Temecula Valley: Prologue
I don't leave for at least another thirty six hours, and yet I can't wait to get out of town. That's why I'm posting tonight instead of tomorrow when I'll be busy throughout the day.
I started editing my novel this afternoon. I reviewed the Prologue and was quite surprised with the writing quality. I could stand to add a few sensory details to spruce things up further but otherwise I'm very pleased with the revision.
I figured out how to properly check in via the Marriott Bonvoy app. I read every prompt and activated the Mobile Key feature for my smart phone so the front desk doesn't have to do it for me. I tried that feature for the first time on my last trip and loved its convenience.
The Porch Gods delivered a travel razor that has a long battery life and recharges via USB-C. It's not the Panasonic ARC5 model, but it wasn't anywhere near $225 either. I tried it out, cleaned it and then oiled it once it was dry. It will do just fine during my travels.I have an itinerary that includes tacos. Wahoo's spicy fish tacos for dinner on Tuesday and then Rosa's Cafe's crunchy beef tacos for lunch on Wednesday. I'll likely visit The Old Town Pub and Richie's All American Diner for my other meals while I'm there.
Don't worry, y'all. I lost three pounds last week and I'm well within my normal weight range. That means I can bring a slice of pecan pie back to the hotel, right?
My winery destination is Danza del Sol. I'll sample up to six wines in the tasting room and then buy two bottles to bring home. I have no plans to buy another "library" wine but you never know with my wallet.
Speaking of which...
The matte olive Ridge wallet on top is the one I use almost daily. The tropical print one below it was on sale and delivered by The Porch Gods recently. I think it goes well with my Tommy Bahama shirts, don't you think?
Have a great trip toots! I finalized this weekend my travels through to autumn.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful trip.
