Temecula Valley: Prologue

I can't believe I'm off on another winery adventure in a couple of days. I also can't believe I found a solution for my foot issues. I wasn't sure if these ASICS Dynablast 5's I picked up at DSW two weeks ago would work out, but they've been wonderful for my walks. These will be packed for the trip.

I picked up some architectural porn at B&N to read for the trip. I read Atomic Ranch and Dwell for the articles, of course!

I'll pack my toiletries on Sunday but I might need an extra day to put together three outfits plus two more for exercise and lounging around. The latest weather forecast calls for temperatures in the mid 80s on Tuesday and Wednesday. It's perfect weather to break out all things "resort chic" like the Tommy Bahama and Robert Graham shirts I recently purchased.

I suppose I should mention this will be the first of three trips to wine country during the next five weeks. I booked an overnight stay for Callaway's special event in two weeks plus another two night stay in early July for my Danza del Sol wine club pickup. 

Perhaps I should start calling Temecula Valley my second home?

      Hey, we can always go to Total Wine in Palm Desert together the next time we meet up. I know the store in my neck of the woods has tastings during normal business hours.
