That One Time I...

... Was Subjected To A Recall

I'm supposed to enjoy my vacation from reality, but reality has caught up to me. 

When I get home, all weight training workouts at Le Crash Pad are suspended until further notice. I was just informed there is a voluntary recall for the Bowflex adjustable dumbbells I purchased last October. The possibility exists that the weight plates can unattach themselves from the bars when in use. 

Now imagine my face if that happened while doing bench presses with mine. Especially after it happened. Ara ara!

I've already added "Remove dumbbells from stand, photograph serial numbers and submit claim online" to my To Do list upon my return. I have no idea how many weeks I'll have to adjust my exercising to walking only, but as much as I'm inconvenienced by this recall I'm thankful I have receipts emailed to me for major purchases. 

If it weren't for that, then I'd be the dumbbell. Right?
